Financial pressures, together with safety recommendations will see the Mid Murray Council cut back pool opening hours.
The changes see the Cambrai & Mannum pools alternate opening days, with two life guards on duty.
Mid Murray Mayor, Simone Bailey said while they were implementing recommendations made by the Royal Life Saving Society following its recent audit of the pools, the Council also needed to ensure the facilities are operating in a sustainable way.

Entry fees for the pools have also gone up, now $5 for an adult, while the family season pass sits at $160.
