A new road safety campaign aims to re-enforce the safe driving message this week.
SAPOL’s operation danger will target road users who are doing the wrong thing, including through regional areas.
SAPOL’s Officer on Charge of Traffic Services Brand, Superintendent Darren Fielke said “The Operation Danger mission is the reduction of harm from vehicle collisions as a result of dangerous road user behaviours”.

Penalties and sanctions for offences that will be targeted during Operation Danger range from cautions to fines, vehicle impoundment, Immediate Loss of Licence and imprisonment.
