Police investigation underway for Renmark fire

A fire at a disused business building in Renmark is now under investigation, with Police believing it was deliberately lit.

Fire crews were called to the Pyap Street address yesterday around 4pm to find a section of the building on fire.

MFS firefighters, together with support from the CFS were able to control the blaze in less than 20 minutes, seeing an estimated damage bill of $40,000.

Police are now calling for information from the public, anyone who may be able to assist Police is urged to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
