There’s some new look waste collection trucks on the roads of the Riverland.
All three Riverland Councils have collaborated on the latest project to see three “Waste Education Ambassadors” featured on the vehicles.
‘Gabby the Yabby’, ‘Tommy the Turtle’ and ‘Murray the Cod’ are displayed, each wearing a hat the same colour as one of the collection bins,

The latest move comes as councils look to spark conversations about waste management and excite younger generations to take pride in where they live and encourage waste recovery.
