It’s the start of a new era for local sport this weekend.
The former Riverland Independent Football & Netball competition starts round one of it’s new identity – now called the Murray Valley Football Netball League.
League officials are said to be excited by the move, that sees new team Murrayville join from the former Mallee Football League.
In other sporting news, round three of Riverland Football is here tomorrow. Renmark take on Loxton, Loxton North host Barmera-Monash while Waikerie take on Berri.
Riverland Soccer is back for round two, all happening in Loxton on Sunday.
