It’s set to be a busy few days ahead, as local NAIDOC week take place through the Riverland.
The week is seen by many as a celebration of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander history and culture, with the number of local events growing each year.
Sunday saw the official opening ceremony in Loxton, with the traditional NAIDOC march taking place in Berri today along Wilson street and Vaughan Terrace.

This will then see a flag raising ceremony at the Berri Riverfront, prior to local NAIDOC award presentations at the Berri town hall.
Local events conclude this Sunday.
