A larger venue was needed for a community meeting in Morgan this week, as the town faces loosing further medical services.
The towns travelling nurse practitioner is set to vacate the council owned town’s medical centre as of next week.
Over 80 people were in attendance for the meeting to discuss the matter and look for further options – which has seen some progress.
While no closer to securing health services, the Morgan Community Development & Tourist Association will look to submit an interest in leasing the medical Centre.
If successful this could see the issue followed up by the association, with the long term goal of securing health services again.
