Another fruit fly outbreak zone has been declared in the Riverland.
Officials recently added the ‘Murtho E’ outbreak zone to the list, which is alongside the previously listed ‘Murtho C’ outbreak zone.
The declaration itself was made on the 28th of August, and joins the now over 50 outbreak zones through the Riverland.

Officials continue work to eradicate the region from the pest, which is a significant hurdle for the regions fresh fruit industry.
