More drivers stopped by Riverland Police

An unlicensed driver from Glossop will face court, after he was stopped by Police in Berri driving on Ahern Street.

The 38-year-old Male driver was stopped after Police noted the vehicle having defects just after 4PM Saturday.

The car in question was then impounded by Police, with the driver now expected to be summonsed to appear in Berri Magistrates Court at a later date.

Then on Saturday night Police stopped a driver in Barmera, who then allegedly returned a positive breath test reading of 0.150.

The 39-year-old woman from Moorook was issued an instant 12 month loss of license, had her car impounded and will now be summonsed to appear in court.
