The Barmera Golf Club is set to power ahead with course upgrades.
They’ve picked up $9000 through a Federal grant to restore golf course pathways that link Tee Blocks to the Fairways.
Just last year the club was named the Golf SA club of the year.
The most recent funding came through what is the now defunct Stronger Communities Program.
Local Federal MP, Tony Pasin said He was pleased that the award-winning Golf Club could take advantage of the highly successful funding program.
Pasin added “Unfortunately, the Albanese Government has decided not to continue funding for the Stronger Communities Program so whilst it’s fantastic that the Barmera Golf Club was able to take advantage of this Coalition program it’s very sad those opportunities no longer exist,”
