Flows dropping again

We’re expecting a small dip in River Murray flows to SA this week.  

Flows are expected to drop to 10Gigalitires/Day by Friday, which comprises of the full February Entitlement Flow of 6.9GL, water for the environment and interstate trade adjustments.

The Department of Environment & Water say it’s too early to say if recent inflows upstream will impact local conditions, however they will monitor the situation and provide updates when required.

Flood warnings are currently in place for locations along the Balonne, Paroo and Moonie Rivers in Queensland, and the Paroo River in New South Wales.

This follows inflows earlier this year in the Victorian catchment.
