FLOOD CLEAN-UP SEES NEAR ON 3000 TONNES REMOVED 

As the flood recovery continues, great effort is being taken to recycle impacted materials.

An update last week outlined Green Industries SA had removed 2,992 tonnes of flood-affected materials from the region.

Of this 83 tonnes of scrap metal was sent to recycling, with 1,052 tonnes of green waste taken also for re-use, including as garden compost.
