Police from Major Crash are continuing their investigation, following a now fatal tractor accident in Glossop last week.
Last Friday morning, emergency services responded to reports a man had been run over by an unmanned tractor, with the man understood to have been working on the tractor adjacent to the Old Sturt Highway.
An 87-year-old man from Glossop was taken to the Riverland General Hospital, to then be later transferred to the Royal Adelaide Hospital.
Sadly on Tuesday this week the man died from his injuries.
Police say the man’s death is the 8th life lost on South Australian Roads this year, compared to 15 at the same time last year.
