Farm water program now broadened

Flood impacted farmers can now apply for funding to undertake water infrastructure repairs & upgrades.

The On-farm Emergency Water Infrastructure Rebate scheme was originally for drought impacted primary producers only, however has now been expanded to those impacted by natural disasters.

For this round the disaster must have been after the 1st of January 2022.

Those eligible can claim up to 25% of the cost of approved critical infrastructure, capped at $25,000.

Applications need to be made to PRISA and close at the end of April.
