A planned burn is scheduled to occur today in an area north east of Renmark.
Weather conditions permitting, National Parks and Wildlife Service officials will conduct the prescribed burn of 28 hectares at North East Calperum Station.
The burn will run from midday to 6pm, with the aim to measure the effect of fire on woody weed suppression.

Smoke may be visible within the burn area for several days, however smoke is unlikely to be visible from public Roads.
