A driver has been arrested following a fatal crash at Cambrai Sunday afternoon.
Just after 1pm Sunday the 18th of May, Emergency crews were called to Ridley Road following reports of a crash involving a truck and two cars.
Sadly, the driver of one of the cars, a 59-year-old man from Sedan died at the scene, while the other two drivers were both airlifted to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Investigations carried out by SAPOL’s Major Crash unit subsequently saw the driver of the Truck arrested and charged with causing death by dangerous driving and causing harm by dangerous driving.
He was granted bail to appear in the Berri Magistrates Court in August.
