A strong field of riders took part in the 49th Tour of the Riverland cycling race, held over the weekend.
Saturday’s Barry Skinner Classic 80km handicap race was taken out by Norwood cycling club rider Sebastian Zajaczkowski.
Riverland rider Clint Bambrick was the highest place local racer, finishing 3rd.

Sunday’s critierium race through Berri was also hotly contested, seeing Adelaide rider Joshua Eden take out the A grade.
Event organisers are now planning ahead for next year’s 50th running of the event.
