Riverland locals are being called to have their say to shape the nations biosecurity activities.
From July next year, primary producers will contribute to a new levy to help cover the cost of bio security practices.
Though this $50M will be collected, which is still less than 10% of the total funding for Australia’s Biosecurity programs.

Strong biosecurity is seen as vital for the Riverland region, being a key player in the nation’s food production.
