New research has sparked concerns about the future of smaller sporting clubs, especially those in Regional areas such as the Riverland.
The research found rising costs and falling revenue is pushing almost 1 in 5 community clubs at risk.
It also reveals 1 in 4 community sporting clubs have seen a decline in new registrations among 15 to 19 year-olds.

Chief Executive of the Australian Sports Foundation, Patrick Walker, says sporting clubs are the lifeblood of Regional communities and many are in need of urgent support.
