Deadlines for The Murray Darling Basin plan’s delivery have now been pushed back.
The target to recover water for the river system has now been pushed back to the end of 2027, with water saving infrastructure projects now not due to the end of 2026.
The plan, now 12 years old originally had a target date of June 2024.
