Two Riverland hotels have been named among South Australia’s best at the 2026 Australian Hotels Association SA Awards held earlier this week.
The Hotel Renmark won Best Restaurant in the country division, with the Hotel also taking out Tourism and Regional Promotion award.
Refreshed outdoor facilities saw the Loxton Hotel awarded the best Outdoor or Non-Enclosed Facility, as well took out the best Bar Presentation & Experience Country division.
Speaking at the event, AHA|SA President, David Basheer, said: “Our hotels and pubs are the heartbeat of the community and the lifeblood of the visitor economy.
“They have invested in their pubs and in their people. Without exception, each venue has risen above soaring business costs to set new levels of excellence. Said Mr Basheer.
The win for the Hotel Renmark comes as the venue plans the next phase of major accommodation refurbishments after securing Government grant funding recently.
