Riverland locals are being encouraged to help track frog populations this week as part of a national project.
The Murraylands and Riverland Landscape Board is calling on the community to take part in the annual Frog Census, running through the first week of winter.
Residents are being encouraged to record frog calls using the FrogSpotter app, helping scientists monitor changes in populations over time.

The Riverland is home to several native frog species, including the vulnerable southern bell frog and the rare Bibron’s toadlet.
