Ted Lasso is back for its fourth season of the critically acclaimed and Emmy winning Apple TV series. Ted Lasso last left our screens back in 2023 when the third season ended on what was certainly originally meant to be a conclusive finale episode. However, through the powers above (and the likely offering of lots of money to Jason Sudekis and Bill Lawrence by Apple TV) the series is set to return later this year with it’s fourth season.
When we last left Ted Lasso he had taken AFC Richmond from struggling Premier League team to the powerhouse success in the champions league. Ted however chose to step away from the club and return back to Kansas to raise his son. When the show returns later this year it appears that Ted, along with both his ex-wife and son, return to London for Ted to take on the head coach role for AFC Richmond’s Women’s team. The newest season will see the return of beloved fan favourite characters Roy Kent, Keeley Jones, Rebecca Walton, Higgins, Coach Beard, Ted Lasso and many more. But with the show taking focus on an all new women’s football team we’re set to meet a full assortment of new characters.
