A 68-year-old Riverland man has been charged, following Tuesday’s fatal crash in Lyrup.
Just before 7.40 Tuesday Morning, Police were called to the Lyrup Ferry after a ute collided with a gate while attempting to board.
The passenger of the Ute, a 69-year-old Riverland woman sadly died in Hospital a short time later.

Yesterday, officers from Major Crash arrested the driver who was then charged with causing death by careless driving and driving unlicenced.
He was bailed and is due to face court in June.
