Local pre-polling for the state election has already seen a strong turn-out ahead of polling day this Saturday.
Over 1300 Chaffey voters cast their ballot over the weekend, with the electorate having two pre-poll locations in Barmera & Renmark.
At the most recent state election in 2022 nearly 24% of Chaffey voters cast their vote at a pre-poll location or via a postal vote.
