Applications are now open for the Riverland Mallee Coorong Local Health Network’s Aged Care Cadetship Program.
Now in its third year, the program has continued to grow since launching in 2024 with 13 participants, offering paid, hands‑on experience as a Direct Care Attendant.
A Q & A information session will be held tomorrow at TAFE SA in Berri, with registrations open for those wanting to attend.
Riverland Mallee Coorong Local Health Network (RMCLHN) Executive Director of Nursing and Midwifery, Karen Hollitt said “This program provides the best employment pathway to becoming a Direct Care Attendant.
“Not only are all training and associated costs paid for by the RMCLHN, but there is ample opportunity for graduates to gain permanent ongoing work arrangements at the program’s end.
