Bradley Cooper is setting the record straight on plastic surgery rumors.
During a recent appearance on the SmartLess podcast with hosts Will Arnett, Sean Hayes, and Jason Bateman, the Maestro star addressed the ongoing speculation about whether he’s had cosmetic surgery. The conversation started when Arnett, a longtime friend of Cooper’s, recalled being asked for a little-known fact about the actor.
“I said, ‘Well, there’s a lot,'” Arnett remembered. “And then I was gonna say, because we keep reading it, ‘Everybody thinks that Bradley’s had plastic surgery.’ Everybody keeps saying that. I’m like, ‘What people don’t know is that he hasn’t.’ Of course, he hasn’t!”
The Silver Linings Playbook actor confirmed he’s heard the rumors, too, noting that people have been commenting on his appearance in person. “No, I get people [coming] up to me the last couple weeks,” he said. “They’re like, ‘Oh, you look good!'”
Arnett expressed frustration with the baseless claims, attributing them to people believing everything they read online. “It made me mad because people say that all the time and it’s a hilarious thing,” he stated. “Everybody thinks that they know. You know you read that bull— stuff.”
Cooper joins a list of celebrities who have recently spoken out against plastic surgery speculation. Last month, Anyone But You actress Sydney Sweeney also shut down similar rumors, revealing she has “never gotten work done” and is afraid of needles.
