Australian Actress, Rachael Carpani, has sadly died at the age of 45. It was announced via a statement released by her family on Instagram.
“It is with great sadness that Tony and Gael Carpani announce that their beautiful daughter, beloved Australian actress Rachael Carpani, unexpectedly but peacefully passed away after a long battle with chronic illness, in the early hours of Sunday 7th December. The funeral will be a private event, to be held on Friday 19th December with close family and friends. The family requests privacy at this very difficult time and will be making no further statements.”
Rachael was best known in Australia for playing Jodi Fountain in the Australian classic series McLeods Daughter. The series ran from 2001 all the way through until 2009 and in that time Carpani featured in 179 episodes. Outside of McLeods Daughter Rachael Carpani would go on to feature in NCIS: Los Angeles, Home and Away, Triangle, and Against the Wall.
