A crowd of over 150 people were in attendance for the 60th running of the Riverland Sportsperson of the year.
Held Saturday at the Berri Hotel, the night was a special homecoming for now retired Tennis professional Luke Saville who was inducted into the Graham Charlton Riverland legends of Sport.
Luke becomes just the second Tennis player to make the list, with the other being Shannon Nettle who also started at the Cobdogla tennis Club.
Judges couldn’t split the winner for Sportsperson of the year honours, which was tied between Hockey player Dakota O’Callaghan & dedicated Berri lawn bowler Claire Eichenberger.
