A planned power outage this Sunday have been further clarified, coming as a big relief for many Waikerie residents.
Maintenance work in the area will now see areas of Cadell and Ramco without power Sunday, an area much smaller than originally outlined.
Original mapping had both the towns of Waikerie and Morgan without power, something SAPN say was due to a mapping system error.
Despite Sunday’s forecast temperature of 36 degrees, SAPN say maintenance work will still proceed as planned and “Specialist crews from Adelaide will be completing the work and will aim to restore power as early as possible, ideally before the warmest part of the day”.
