Riverland locals are being called to hop-to-it and help out with important frog research.
The nation’s largest citizen science project is currently underway, with locals able to help researchers as part of FrogID week.
This sees participants recording frog calls in their local area using a free smartphone app.

The Riverland is home to a number of frogs of interest for researchers, including the threatened Southern Bell Frog, together with the rare Bibron’s toadlet.
