Riverland have yet again stopped several drivers committing traffic offences on local roads, with three drivers reported for being positive to illicit drugs between Friday and Saturday.
The drivers, A 33-year-old man from Berri, a 57-year-old woman from Renmark and a 56-year-old man from Dernancourt were all issued with a three-month instant loss of licence notice and may be summonsed to court at a later date pending forensic analysis.
Also on Saturday, Police in Blanchetown stopped a driver who allegedly was not wearing a seat belt. Further checks revealed the 22-year-old man from Elizabeth was disqualified from driving.
His car was impounded for 28 days, and he will be summonsed to appear in court at a later date.
