Much needed hay will be distributed to local farmers today in Paruna.
Through the Rapid Relief Team 14 truckloads have travelled to the region from NSW, with the event today seen as a chance for the community to support each other in what’s been a tough cropping season.
RRT Operations Manager Mick Dunn said the Farmers Community Connect events are an important opportunity to come together as a community during a challenging time.

“We know a free bale of hay or two won’t end the drought, but RRT hopes to ease the burden a little and remind the South Australian farming community that they are not alone,” said Mr Dunn.
