Two Arrested Over Separate Incidents

Two Loxton men will face court after being arrested over separate incidents in Loxton this week.

A 21-year-old man was arrested and charged with two counts of property damage and assault, after he allegedly damaged a petrol pump at a service station on Bookpurnong Terrace, kicked a fence and then assaulted a man, on Monday 4th July. Police patrols apprehended the Loxton man yesterday, he was granted police bail to appear in the Berri Magistrates Court in August.

Following this, just after 2pm on Wednesday 12th July, police patrols attended an incident on Edwards Street in Loxton. On arrival, a woman alleged she left her car parked out the front of a laundromat, when she noticed a man leaning into her vehicle. The 40-year-old man form Loxton was arrested an charged with illegal interference with a motor vehicle, he was refused police bail and will appear in the Berri Magistrates Court today.
