| Fatality in Bookpurnong over the weekend |
|
A Berri man is appearing in court today following Saturday nights’ fatal crash in Bookpurnong. A 29 year old woman from Berri died when a Holden Commodore rolled on Bookpurnong Rd just before midnight, after the 30 year old driver failed to negotiate a right hand bend. He was arrested and charged for driving unlicensed and causing death by dangerous driving, while the woman’s 7 month old son was taken to hospital for observations. Police are reminding motorists that a momentary lapse in concentration can have tragic consequences, so please take care on our roads. |
