| Man arrested in Truro |

A man has been arrested after shooting his father at Truro. Police were called to a house on Second St at 12:30 this morning, following a disturbance, and found a 68 year old man had been shot in the leg. The 36 year old suspect was believed to have been under the influence of drugs and was inside when Police arrived. STAR Force Officers were then called to the scene, and the man surrendered himself and was arrested without trouble. Both men were taken to hospital, and the 36 year old is likely to be charged with several firearms offences later today. |
